Shigure is the dog of the zodiac and the owner of the house where he, Tohru, Yuki and Kyo live. He is a writer who writes both academic books and romance novels under many pen names. His most common and celebrated is "Karitani Noa" from his erotic "Summer-Colored Sky" novel.

He loves to drink tea, eat takoyaki, drive his editor, whom he affectionately calls "Miichan", to tears by feigning the non-completion of his work, sleep late, and smoke cigarettes.

He's a jokester who occasionally gives advice or purposely stirs up controversy for the good of everyone in the end.

blocking my head

I'm having problems coming up with new schemes and twists for my novel. It's frustrating, it's infuriating, it's a riot! How the heck did I become a novelist in the first place?

It's true. Even professionals suffer mental blocks. When mental blocks happen, the world becomes a boring place.
I yelled "Not again!" to my book.
I usually write in the morning, inside my room with open windows. If not, I go outside and sit under the tree. There I could watch the colorful leaves and petals fall, eye on the swaying branches, and laugh when a bird drops its cargo on me. It's usually windy when I go out and I don't know why. It's always windy. There's always a breeze lurking whenever I stick my pen on the paper.

I just hope Miichan won't visit me anytime soon. Wait, someone's knocking at the door. I wonder who it is... oh no. Anyone but her.
