Shigure is the dog of the zodiac and the owner of the house where he, Tohru, Yuki and Kyo live. He is a writer who writes both academic books and romance novels under many pen names. His most common and celebrated is "Karitani Noa" from his erotic "Summer-Colored Sky" novel.

He loves to drink tea, eat takoyaki, drive his editor, whom he affectionately calls "Miichan", to tears by feigning the non-completion of his work, sleep late, and smoke cigarettes.

He's a jokester who occasionally gives advice or purposely stirs up controversy for the good of everyone in the end.

October 29 blues

It's funny. A band is asking me to write them a song. I'm not a composer and it's pretty hard to compact a story in a song. Don't they have a composer in the band?

I'm not inclined on lyrical composition. I feel constrained on writing lyrics. However, If I turn them down, they'll know my waterloo. I don't want to let them know my weakness.

I'd have to turn them down anyway. I still have a lot of writing to do. Come what may. I'm sure they'd understand that writing a song is different.

Or maybe I shouldn't. Aww snap! I can't decide.
