Shigure is the dog of the zodiac and the owner of the house where he, Tohru, Yuki and Kyo live. He is a writer who writes both academic books and romance novels under many pen names. His most common and celebrated is "Karitani Noa" from his erotic "Summer-Colored Sky" novel.

He loves to drink tea, eat takoyaki, drive his editor, whom he affectionately calls "Miichan", to tears by feigning the non-completion of his work, sleep late, and smoke cigarettes.

He's a jokester who occasionally gives advice or purposely stirs up controversy for the good of everyone in the end.

singing in his sleep

Arrgh. To be honest, I don't rant too much about not having fresh ideas. For starters, ranting about it won't help. I mean, you rant and BOOM fresh idea. Unfortunately, it's not possible. If it is, I probably be old by now.
"A mirror. Let's see." Gasp! I'm old!
One night -- I think it was last night -- while I was checking on the "teens" if they were asleep, I swear I heard Yuki-kun sing in his sleep. I tried to cover my mouth from laughing. It was too cute. He was humming a familiar melody. I think it's from a nursery rhyme.

Sweet heaven above. I am old. Too old to even remember a nursery rhyme. I really want to record it next time. Let's keep this a secret.
