Shigure is the dog of the zodiac and the owner of the house where he, Tohru, Yuki and Kyo live. He is a writer who writes both academic books and romance novels under many pen names. His most common and celebrated is "Karitani Noa" from his erotic "Summer-Colored Sky" novel.

He loves to drink tea, eat takoyaki, drive his editor, whom he affectionately calls "Miichan", to tears by feigning the non-completion of his work, sleep late, and smoke cigarettes.

He's a jokester who occasionally gives advice or purposely stirs up controversy for the good of everyone in the end.

the day at the lake felt so right

I knew I should've gone fishing today. I scored a bunch of ideas for my upcoming novel. I never expected my writer's block would take a month. Who knew a sleep under the shade of a tree would solve the problem. I had to overcome it since I'm looking for royalty checks before Christmas comes.

I brought Kyo, Yuki, Tohru and her friends with me. They seemed to enjoy the day. Especially Kyo, since he caught the most number of fish. Actually, he was the only one fishing. I was just pretending to fish, to make it look like I'm competing; you know, add some fuel to his flame. And Kyo looked awfully proud of himself too. I just ignored my fishing rod and went to sleep.

Yeah, today was fun. I'm planning to do it again next Saturday. It'll probably be an overnight camping. I just hope the weather's fine and the same people would come.

Thank God for Saturday.
