Shigure is the dog of the zodiac and the owner of the house where he, Tohru, Yuki and Kyo live. He is a writer who writes both academic books and romance novels under many pen names. His most common and celebrated is "Karitani Noa" from his erotic "Summer-Colored Sky" novel.

He loves to drink tea, eat takoyaki, drive his editor, whom he affectionately calls "Miichan", to tears by feigning the non-completion of his work, sleep late, and smoke cigarettes.

He's a jokester who occasionally gives advice or purposely stirs up controversy for the good of everyone in the end.

crabby

When was the last time I brought crabs for dinner? My friend gave them to me. I was almost in tears when I saw how much crab he gifted. This'll definitely help tonight's dinner. Some of the crabs are Hanasaki-- sounds familiar-- some of them were spider crabs. Alas, I cannot eat too many for it'll be troublesome for my health. How it pains me oh so dear to realize thy irony and thy temptation.

Anyway, I've really enjoyed eating dinner tonight; all thanks to Tohru-kun. She cooks a mean crab recipe. I mean really meant a mean mean recipe. It was mean because it was very enticing and tempting to have seconds. Although, I cannot. Oh how cruel fate thou giveth king crab. Anyway, I cannot wait for tomorrow's breakfast. Crab and pancakes! What time is it?
