Shigure is the dog of the zodiac and the owner of the house where he, Tohru, Yuki and Kyo live. He is a writer who writes both academic books and romance novels under many pen names. His most common and celebrated is "Karitani Noa" from his erotic "Summer-Colored Sky" novel.

He loves to drink tea, eat takoyaki, drive his editor, whom he affectionately calls "Miichan", to tears by feigning the non-completion of his work, sleep late, and smoke cigarettes.

He's a jokester who occasionally gives advice or purposely stirs up controversy for the good of everyone in the end.

sleep it off

I've been going round and round but I haven't been able to figure out how to unstuck myself with my current story. I went for a walk today. It should've been a long walk but it suddenly rained. I forgot to bring an umbrella. I always go for a walk whenever I feel something's bugging me. This time, my work is bugging me. When I got back to my room, Kyo yelled to me that the cable was out. Gasp. I know I paid the most recent bill last week.

Still three hours and nothing's coming to my mind. Tohru-kun gave me a fresh blanket. It's spring after all. Time for a change. Anyway, I've taken a break for three hours. It wasn't really a break because I was still figuring out what to write since then. Now my new fresh blanket is calling me. Whatever. It's time to sleep, I guess.
