Shigure is the dog of the zodiac and the owner of the house where he, Tohru, Yuki and Kyo live. He is a writer who writes both academic books and romance novels under many pen names. His most common and celebrated is "Karitani Noa" from his erotic "Summer-Colored Sky" novel.

He loves to drink tea, eat takoyaki, drive his editor, whom he affectionately calls "Miichan", to tears by feigning the non-completion of his work, sleep late, and smoke cigarettes.

He's a jokester who occasionally gives advice or purposely stirs up controversy for the good of everyone in the end.

mmm. yeah whatever.

Yuki-kun and I had a bit of a conversation about what's happening in the Sohma Main house. I asked for his opinion about Akito not talking but it was just a dead end. I knew he would say that Yuki underwent a phase of not talking because of personal grievance. But as for Akito, she stopped talking after waking up in the hospital; it all happened when she suddenly collapsed while both her and Kureno were in the gardens. So her case might be different, as if there's a medical reason behind it. I'm still considering that it's something personal why Akito isn't talking to someone.

I've been out of my act for the past few weeks, ignoring work, not giving a care to anyone, or to the world. I know that I'm carefree, but what I've been doing is ridiculous. I think so too. Mine-chan left me a lot of messages and I know I'm missing my appointments. Ritchan also dropped by for a while to see how I was doing; I mean Ritsu is really worried about me -- especially at Mine-chan.

Getting my act together. Yuki also told me this. I guess everyone is noticing it. But how exactly am I getting out of here?
