Shigure is the dog of the zodiac and the owner of the house where he, Tohru, Yuki and Kyo live. He is a writer who writes both academic books and romance novels under many pen names. His most common and celebrated is "Karitani Noa" from his erotic "Summer-Colored Sky" novel.

He loves to drink tea, eat takoyaki, drive his editor, whom he affectionately calls "Miichan", to tears by feigning the non-completion of his work, sleep late, and smoke cigarettes.

He's a jokester who occasionally gives advice or purposely stirs up controversy for the good of everyone in the end.

caught between the crossfire

It's not my habit to meddle into other people's business -- at least in my opinion. But I hope Kyo-kun knows what he's doing. Ignoring Kagura like that, he really has some explaining to do. It's a sad picture to see, a girl talking to a tree.
"Hello tree." Higk.

"Kagura! Why don't you come here? Let's chat. It's been quite a while, ain't it?" What is she doing?

"Daijobou. Daijobou. I'm just talking to my friend besides me." she answered quietly.
I can't say I'm impressed, but I'm surprised. Normally Kyo-kun would shout at her to stop while he's getting beat, however he seems to be applying the mind-over-matter routine. It's part of his scheme to just shut up even if Kagura breaks a line or two.

I'm worried though. I don't like to imagine Kagura being hurt. I guess, for her, this is just a mere joke. But Kyo-kun looks serious over this matter. If he doesn't like Kagura-san to be staying over or what not, it appears to me that Kyo-kun's made his mind -- and he's making his point inside my house.
"Kyo-kun! Please tell Kagura-san to turn off the stove." I think the tea kettle's making its point too. And it's making quite a ruckus.

"Go tell her yourself." owch.

"Uhhmm... I'll get it." instead of Kagura, Tohru headed over the kitchen and turned the stove off.
Ayayay. I'm getting too old for this. On the other hand, this dilemma might be a great idea for my upcoming novel. It's about a persistent girl and a hard- headed boy. Nah. Too shallow.

maintain the posture

This'll be quick. What's up with these books tackling about conspiracies / religion? Apparently, there's a trend covering such topics. I've seen a lot of new ones, lately -- maybe published at the same time?

I've made some scouting and found out that most of them are fiction. However, they contain some elements of facts and basis on facts. Which make the readers wonder, thus establishing a much curious and intrigued audience. In the end, they buy more books.
"It's a new genre?" intriguing...
These books also contain some philosophic ideas. The book is logical and in a way hooks the readers. I'm starting to be concerned about such books. But I'm not too concerned though. I'm satisfied with how I write. Should I change my style?
